Knowing the future is not always a picnic! How do I tell someone who is acting in a certain way that I know that what he/she does now is useless because I KNOW what is going to happen? You see, you cannot tell anybody that you know what they are going to do in the future, because they are not ready for it. By revealing too soon you take a risk of changing the timeline, making this person take different steps to avoid something that they are not prepared for or because they have another idea of what their future should be.

I am not talking about broad astrological predictions or even psychic readings. I am talking about clear “visions” of this person’s future and those who are related to him/her in these “visions”.

Some things in our lives are meant to be, events that we were prepared for in another life which have to happen in this life in order to fulfill our soul contracts. The veil of forgetfuleness does not allow us to remember who we really are and what these “contracts” are. So, we have to find out the hard way: by discovering them as we do our living, day by day, along the 3D linear time frame.

However, time does not exist outside of our 3D world; so, there is no past or future, only present. For some individuals it is possible to have a glimpse into this eternal present and see events which are in our  past or in our future. Timelines can be changed though, and it can be dangerous because everything being interconnected, this might have unwanted consequences.

So, knowing the future is not always a picnic! However, if you are personally involved and you know the outcome of some situation and it agrees with you, then you say nothing and wait for what you know is going to happen. This takes away the worry about the future and you can relax and enjoy the games humans play, not knowing that they are just players of a game the outcome of which is already on record.

My iPad Thanksgiving adventure

My friend and I were invited for a Thanksgiving dinner in New Jersey. We took a cab uptown to get on time to the Port Authority where we were going to take a bus.

The traffic was horrendous because of the Thanksgiving day Parade, and 10 blocks from the Port Authority we decided to continue on foot, because we would get there faster.

We stopped in a flower shop to get flowers for our hostess, and I suddenly realized that the bag containing my iPad and my digital camera was not with me! I left it in the cab!! Too late to find the cab.

I had a panic attack! My iPad, my best companion before going to sleep (yes, don’t laugh! I do my reading in bed!). Images of doom came to my mind. Sensitive information was contained in that little tablet, which I did not care to share with anybody! What to do? What to do?

My friend and I did some visualization and I prayed to God, the Angels, the Universe that my iPad would return to me unharmed, hoping to be heard!

We got to Port authority, took our bus and arrived on time for an Italian style Thanksgiving dinner (the turkey was a side dish!!). I had time to submit a lost and found request to the Yellow Cabs company ($47, just for the asking) and then enjoyed my dinner as much as I could, trying to forget about the fate of my iPad.

When we got home, I opened my computer and found an e-mail that made my heart jump with joy!

“Hello,

I found a tote bag with an iPad & camera in it today in a taxi. I think they are yours.

Please call me at…….”

I dialed the number and a woman answered, immediately recognizing my name. She explained to me that she was the next passenger on the cab and immediately saw my tote bag. She looked into it and saw the iPad and camera. She herself has the same tablet and realized that whomever lost this gadget must be very upset, because if it has been her, she would be very upset! So she decided to take it with her try to figure out who it belonged to.

This was some detective work, because my iPad is locked and there was name or any indication of the owner. So she did research, using a little icon placed at the bottom of the screen which, when touched, reveals the photo gallery. She looked at my pictures, hoping to find a clue! And there it was! An art show where I was the artist, with my art on the wall and me in front the pictures. She located the signature on the artwork, and put my name on Google, and the rest is history!! You can’t hide anything from Google!!

It just happens that April (that’s the name of my Angel) is also an artist and studied in France for a while. I went this morning to pick up my belongings and met her and her husband in person. They are wonderful people, warm and generous, and we really hit it off, and we are now friends (also on Facebook!).

I am going to help her with her website as a token of gratitude for saving my iPad and my digital camera.

Voila. This is the Thanksgiving miracle I wanted to reveal to the world!!

A NEW BEGINNING - 3

 

 

Do you believe in destiny? Do you think that no matter what we think and do, there is a “Divine Plan” for us to fulfill. Yes, we have free will, but some events in our life are meant to be, and they will happen when their time has come.

My meeting this man was meant to be. I had dreams about him long before I met him. Of course, I did not know who my dreams were announcing, but I knew that sooner or later he would show up in my life.

The other “event” which was part of the “Divine Plan” was that this man would end up living with me, in my tiny apartment. Oh! He did not want to!! He tried many different alleys, but they all failed and at the end, he had no choice, but come to live with me. To me, this was a sign that a Higher Power was in charge, and we had to comply.

This was going to be an experience that neither of us was prepared for. Our relationship, so far, is based on a loving friendship, a mutual respect for each other and is purely platonic. How to accommodate the need for space and isolation that he requires (and so do I) in this small New York apartment, pompously called a one-bedroom, when there is no wall separating the living room from the sleeping alcove!! We had to use our imagination and move things around to create some sort of separation that would allow some privacy for both of us.

We managed, and started to get used to this temporary arrangement. We are both learning how to adapt to a new situation and get to know each other better. I know it is difficult for him because his spiritual journey requires time alone, space and silence. As for me, my feelings for him became stronger and stronger, creating a conflict in our respective goals. I had to learn how to control my thoughts (which he picked up very easily!!) so as not to interfere in his field.

Now that we live under the same roof, his influence in my life is even more prominent! He takes very seriously his role as a teacher for me, showing me new ways of living my physical life as well as my behavior in general. Every day I make progress, growing and feeling better in my body and mind. He improves my life in every way and I hope I help him in his search for perfection, as well as his work which requires my skills.

Where is this going to lead? I don’t want to speculate and leave it to God to decide. After all, He/She put us in this tight situation!!

When he came into my life, I was a shadow of myself. My body was aching everywhere for lack of exercise, I had gained a lot of weight and it felt very uncomfortable. I was in limbo, waiting for the 5^th dimension to materialize hoping I would have a better and more fulfilling life there.

I was in a relationship with a man for a very long time, but this relationship had ceased to enhance my life. I stayed in it out of boredom and habit, like a bad addiction. I was not “unhappy”, no; I was resigned to this mediocre life and accepted it as my fate, my “karma”, hoping it would finally end with the upcoming new cycle, the New Earth we are all waiting for. My spiritual journey had stopped when I met this man who is the opposite of what I should have aimed for. Why did I stay so long with him? I don’t know. We can always find reasons and justifications to our decisions, and they are all subjective, false, because we know so well how to lie to ourselves.

And then it happened. This new man comes into my life. He is younger than me, handsome, charismatic, and, above all, highly spiritual. He is on a journey that started for him when he was a child. Right from the start, he decided to be my “mentor”, to teach me how to live my life, how to walk every day and loosen my aching muscles, how to meditate and activate the light within. He offered me his friendship and unconditional love.  He told me that we were connected through the heart. I knew he was right, because I recognized him when he first came to my house. There was an unmistakable familiarity. Our souls knew each other! We had met before, in other lives, and here and now, we had to continue what we had started somewhere else. There was a “soul contract” we had to fulfill.

He came to see me regularly, taking me to the park for walks, helping me with my meditations, and, above all, making me aware of the absurdity of my relationship with my then partner, urging me to make the right decision and set myself free. He showed me the real reason why I was still in this relationship:  giving away my power. This was a recurring theme in my life, with all the important men I had relationships with, I always gave away my power and let them control me.

That’s how this man changed my life: I started losing weight, my aches and pains disappeared, and my body came back to life in a way that I was not expecting or even dreamed of! I am now able to walk fast and furious, without any effort! But most importantly, I found the strength to tell my partner that our life as a couple was over. We would stay friends and continue our dialogues, but we were no longer together and so, we would be free to live our lives the way we wanted.

I never felt so good in my life! I was free like a bird, and I had this new friend who made me so happy! I helped him with his projects and proved to be invaluable to him because of my skills which he badly needed. So, there is an exchange and we are fulfilling our soul contract.

There is still a lot of work to be done and we are both committed to keep helping each other, loving each other unconditionally, be there for each other and, above all, to continue our spiritual journey together.

Thank you God for sending this man into my life!

A NEW BEGINNING

On New Year 2012 I wished for a new beginning and that all our dreams became reality.

I don’t know about you, but this is exactly what happened to me! Like many of us, I was waiting for something magic to happen in 2012. After all, this is the end of the Mayan calendar which falls on the December 21, 2012. It is also the end of a 26,000 years cycle, when the sun and the galactic center will be conjunct, on that same date 12-21-12, as well as the end of the Age of Pisces and the start of the Age of Aquarius. There are even longer cycles ending in 2012, all converging toward the 2012 Winter solstice.

With all of these endings expectations become paramount. The earth is going to be upgraded to the 5^th dimension!  A New Earth will be borne, and a New Golden Age is dawning for humankind. Some will forecast catastrophes, while others see the awakening to a new state of consciousness, where LOVE is the rule and duality is over.

This is the vision I chose to have, because we are co-creators of our reality, and this is the reality I wish for all living beings on this Earth. While I was waiting for something special to stir my routine, I was doing a lot of studying, reading, researching everything about 2012, neglecting everything else. I had reduced my actions to the minimum, spending most of my time in front of my computer monitor.

And suddenly, he appeared in my life and my world went upside-down! He was the last thing I was expecting or even hoping for! He found me and I recognized him. We knew each other from past lives and our encounter here, at the end of this cycle, was meant to be, so that we could fulfill our soul contract.

Now my question is: will we complete our task in this 3D earth before going together, hand in hand, to the New Earth on the 5^th dimension?  I certainly hope so and I am working on it in order to be ready when the 2012 Portal opens at the end of the year.

It was a beautiful September morning. For the last time, the sun rose between the Twin Towers.
At 8:55 am, I came out of the subway and the first thing I saw was an enormous band of black smoke in the sky. I rushed to my office building, two blocks down from the subway station, and asked the doorman if he knew what had happened.
“An airplane flew into one of the twin towers” he said in a somber voice.
“Oh my God! Was it a commercial plane?” I asked, suddenly aware of what this would mean for hundreds of people.
“We don’t know, nobody knows….”
I took the elevator to my office and as soon as I was there, the phone rang. It was a colleague from Milan.
“I am watching TV and I see the tower in flame! Do you know what happened? He asked.
“No, I am just arriving….”
“Santo Dio! He exclaimed, another plane just hit the second tower!!!
I dropped the phone and rushed to the TV room where all my colleagues had gathered. They were all was crying, screaming, calling names of the people they knew who worked at the World Trade Center. We could not believe our eyes.
“This is a terrorist attack! It’s no accident!
We stayed in front of the TV, mesmerized, until the first tower fell, and then the second. It was like a nightmare! Maybe it will go away; maybe it’s a bad joke!
The towers were located a few blocks south and west of the office, and very soon we were asked to evacuate the premises for security reasons.
I tried to call Joe to let him know that I was okay, but all the phones were out. We all took the stairs to get out of the building. In the street, people were crying or just in shock, a blank look on their face. The streets had been closed to regular traffic, except for police vehicles, firefighting trucks and ambulances. Buses had been chartered to go downtown.
With no public transportation available, hundreds of people started to walk up towards the north of the city. The smell of burning buildings was everywhere. Pedestrians were led by a police officer from one sidewalk to another. We were too devastated to have any reaction, and we followed the orders in silence. Some businessmen who had escaped the disaster zone were covered with gray powder. Women took their high heels off and walked bare feet.
New Yorkers are usually very talkative and lively, but today no one says a word. There are no smiles on their faces, just question marks and despair.
Who did that to us? Why? Our city is wounded and we all feel the pain. These people who died and are still dying are our brothers and sisters; it could be us out there! New York is our home and we are a family.
We walked a long time. I finally made it home and watched TV for three days, not even going out to buy food. I could not stop crying, even though nobody I personally knew was buried under the fallen buildings. Even now, while I write these memories, I am crying. Close to 3000 people died that day. Why? Can anybody tell me why?

Can you imagine a world without color? Eveything around us would be grey, black or white, like in old movies. How dull this world would be! Fortunately, Nature abounds with color and just looking at a blue sky is a feast for the eyes. For digital artists, the computer monitor is their canvas and the mouse is their brush. Religions, their meaning and purpose

The word religion comes from the Latin “rilegare” which means “to link”. Religion is therefore what links man to his Creator, and it is “revealed” to mankind by God Himself, since a religion is also a“Revelation”

In today’s world, there are three main religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and three oriental doctrines: Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism. These doctrines cannot be called religions because they are metaphysical in nature and their goal is “metaphysical liberation”, whereas the goal of religions is “salvation”.

Religions are destined to the mass and, for this reason, are presented as “dogmas” not to be discussed but accepted in “faith”, because the common human does not have the intellectual qualifications to grasp metaphysical concepts. Therefore, the “form”, or the exterior of a tradition will be emphasized in a religion. This also explains why these forms are different from one another, each form being “adapted” to the mentality of the people to whom it is addressed.

A new “revelation” does not imply that the old one was wrong, but rather that is has lost its spiritual power on the people to whom the new revelation is destined. For instance, Christianity was directed to the Roman world whose religious practices had become mere superstitions at the end of their civilization. It was not destined to the Jewish people whose tradition was alive and well, or to other parts of the world which were unknown to the people of those days.

Because of these geographical, historical and human requirements, a religion has limitations and its exterior cannot be “universal”. It appeals to the emotional side of human beings, faith, love, passion, which can easily become “fanaticism”. The reason is that religions are only concerned with the individual, and their goal is “salvation”.

The human who obtains “salvation” through observance of his religious faith during his lifetime, is “saved” from returning to another life in a form lower than human (an animal, for instance), thus guaranteeing the possibility to reach higher states of consciousness.

Therefore, a religion is necessary to give the common man a spiritual vehicle to ascertain his progression on the vertical plane of the cross, or, in other words, to be able to continue climbing the ladder of universal existence as a “central being”, i.e., the equivalent of human being with free will. This is why the Tantra says that “the one who has obtained the human state and does not try to transcend it is like one who commits suicide”. Because “death” is really “stagnation, i.e., the impossibility of reaching the higher states of the being.

Dreams come true…sometimes

Since I was a child, I have had precognition dreams. I was not aware of it until they came true. Later in life, I learnt how to interpret my dreams and listen to their advice and messages.

Dream interpretation is a very personal endeavor, since our dreams use what is stored in our brains and translate it into symbols. For instance, let’s say that you dream of a cat. This cat might represent a person, or a side of your personality, and the feelings you have for cats in real life will describe the feelings you have for this person or for this side of your personality. So, the first thing to do before interpreting a dream is to find out what the images it shows represent for you. If you love cats, then the message is a positive one, if on the contrary you hate cats, or you are allergic to them, then you have to find out who, in your life, makes you feel this way.

In my personal experience, I found four categories of dreams:

1. Immediate messages about ongoing problems of everyday life (health, work, relationships, etc.)
2. Messages of a psychological nature (revelations about oneself, mirror image showing our weaknesses)
3. Messages of a spiritual nature (showing our stage of spiritual development, answering questions about life and death, etc.)
4. Precognition dreams. These are very vivid and usually wake us up in the middle of night, and they seem incomprehensible.

Of course, there are dreams which do not fall in any of these categories because they are too vague and have no value, except to let our brains wander.

Some people say they never dream. This is not true! We spend most our sleeping time dreaming. The reason why we do not remember is because we do not give ourselves a chance to remember. Most people wake up in the morning in the worst possible way:
with an alarm clock. We go from the sleeping state to the waking state without any transition, back into our everyday worries and obligations. Even without an alarm clock we have a tendency to get right back to our waking state and full consciousness. The secret for remembering our dreams is to give ourselves a few minutes before opening our eyes, while not fully awake, in order to review the images of our dreams, still fresh in our mind. This will allow us to perceive messages received from our higher mind (or our subconscious mind) and solve a problem, or have a breakthrough.

I found it very useful to write down my dreams and study them later. The more you write them down and study them, the more you remember significant details. If you do this regularly, channels of communication will open between you and your higher mind, revealing to you a world of information about yourself, the state of your spiritual development, and things to come.

A very good friend of mine wrote a book entitled “The Intelligence of Dreams” in which she teaches a “method” on how to remember dreams and use them in your everyday life.

I have been a professional astrologer for over 25 years and I developed quite a good practical knowledge of this ancient science. And this is what I learned:

Astrology is a cosmic science. The word Cosmos means order. Everything in our universe is governed by the laws of analogy, i.e., as above so below. Astrology is the body of laws that link the infinitely large and the infinitely small to the Cosmos. Thus, apparent disorder becomes universal harmony. Consequently, human beings cannot be independent of this order and the destiny of humanity as a whole, as well as that of each individual is determined by these laws that rule the universe.

For everything is intertwined and if the stars’ function is to determine the destiny of humanity, each human being’s function is to fulfill his destiny according to his own nature.

WHAT IS THE FREE WILL?

Humans are the only beings on earth that enjoy this privilege. An animal or a plant are totally conditioned and have no power to change their life. However, human beings can only exercise their free will within the limits that have been assigned to them. For freedom is relative and is subjected to the general plan of the universe. Nevertheless, our free will allows us to maximize our potentials and to turn our destiny into a success.
In an individual birth chart, each planet, each sign, each aspect, represent both psychological characteristics and facts of life. Thus the chart proves to be of capital importance because it reveals our weaknesses and their consequences, but also our strengths which we can use to overcome obstacles and therefore, to control our destiny.

CAN ASTROLOGY PREDICT THE FUTURE?

A natal chart is a snapshot of the cosmos at the time of birth--a cosmic portrait. It is what the universe has to say about who you are what you may become.
The future is built in the present and all the potentials of our destiny are written in our birth chart. Astrology reveals these possibilities; however, it is up to each one of us to translate them into reality. It is as if, when we were born, we were given a recipe for a dish, with all the ingredients necessary to realize it. Our destiny is the dish, and we can turn it into a success with mediocre ingredients, or into a disaster with first quality ingredients.
The astrological chart thus becomes the instrument necessary to understand our own nature, to raise our level of consciousness and consequently, to improve our life.

Why I love New York City

When I arrived in New York for the first time, I first discovered the skyline of Mahattan from the taxi cab driving me from the airport to my hotel. The first thing that came to my mind was "this is a masculine city, with all these buildings in erection!" I compared it to Paris, where I came from, where all the buildings are of the same highth, making the city feminine and soft. I definitely liked Manhattan!!
