I am a rock
In the middle of a furious ocean
Birds, fish and lost souls
Come to me for shelter
Storm and surf push them
Back and forth
They stumble
They fall
They cling to my slippery sides
Some make it
Some don't
I am a rock
Always strong in the tempest of life
Always there for you to take refuge
It is up to you to hold tight
And stay safe
In the turmoil of life
There, at my core, my heart
Where no wind will ever crush you!
